# Bring a Figma selection

Use a selection’s structure and preview to create a working interface.

## Connect Figma

Open Settings → Connections and connect Figma. The account you connect needs access to the file you want to use.

If an import is denied, confirm that you connected the right account and can open the selection in Figma. A file link does not grant access by itself.

## Import a selection

### 1. Copy the selection link

Select a frame or component in Figma and copy its link, rather than only the file’s homepage.

### 2. Paste it into the composer

Wait for Tenor to read the design and show its reference preview.

### 3. Describe the result

Say which parts should remain faithful and explain any content or behavior you want to change.

### 4. Inspect the interface

Compare layout, typography, images, and interaction with the reference. Review any font substitutions or missing assets.

## Know what transfers

Tenor uses the design structure and preview to create an interface. Edits in Tenor do not automatically change the source Figma file.

A pasted bitmap is an image reference. Use the selection link when you want Tenor to read structure and styling.

## Resolve import problems

Check permissions and the selection link, then try a smaller frame. You can also export a screenshot as a visual reference.

Fonts, effects, and prototypes may need adaptation for the browser. Verify the rendered result rather than assuming every property transfers directly.
