# Images and vectors

Create visual assets alongside your UI interfaces.

## Describe the asset

Tell Tenor whether you need an image or an SVG/vector asset. Describe the subject, composition, and where it will be used.

To edit an existing asset, select it and explain the change rather than asking for an unrelated new result.

## Give it context

- Purpose: an illustration, icon, texture, hero image, or another part of the interface.
- Composition: placement, crop, negative space, and proportions.
- Style: a visual reference or the language of the surrounding interface.
- Background: the solid background or transparency you need.

## Inspect at the intended size

Check the asset on the canvas and at the size where it will appear. Raster images and SVGs have different editing and export characteristics.

If a request fails, read the conversation’s error and check available usage before retrying.

## Refine the useful direction

Ask for one change to the selected asset: simplify a shape, adjust a crop, or improve contrast. Inspect the whole result before the next pass.
