Work with voice

Talk through a design while keeping the canvas in view.

2 min read

Start a conversation

Open the canvas you want to work on and select the relevant component. Choose Start voice design conversation and allow microphone access when prompted.

Wait for the listening state, then speak a complete request. You can describe a new idea, ask for an edit, or request another variant.

Keep the target clear

Select a new component or hover target when the conversation moves to another part of the canvas. Don’t rely on an old selection after replacing or deleting its source.

For a follow-up, describe the change you want in the latest result. State whether the source should be updated or preserved as a separate version.

Example prompt
Create another version of this card with a horizontal layout. Keep the content and colors, and leave the original beside it.

Watch and review

Check the conversation and the canvas while Tenor works. Wait for the change to finish before judging it or asking for the next adjustment.

Use End voice conversation when you are finished. You can continue with the text composer at any time.

Troubleshoot the microphone

Check browser microphone permission and the input device if voice cannot connect. Read the session status and error before trying again.

Voice uses an online service. Keep passwords, API keys, and other sensitive information out of the conversation.
